that’s neither a yogurt nor an ice cream. that’s one of the popular Filipino street foods that brings nostalgia: ice scramble ^^ it’s made of crushed ice and milk with a very smooth and creamy texture. i never had it when i was young even though almost everyone at school eats it happily. :( why? because i have a very sensitive stomach when it comes to street foods. the moment i attempted buying, my sister’s classmate was sent to the hospital & got diagnosed with amoebiasis. the first time i had this was only 4 yrs ago when a food fair was held at our university.i thought it was safe to eat since it was brought in by my blockmates. i’m really glad they have it in malls now— well i’m not sure if they have it in other malls because i had it in Robinson’s Place Imus. it’s very affordable: 7Php for 4 oz. cup, 10Php for 6 oz. cup & 17Php for 12 oz. cup then just add 4Php for toppings like marshmallows or choco chips. i’m glad it’s near my place!! wee! i can have it anytime i crave for it! this definitely beats yogurt for me this summer! ^^
